Investigation should have started day the grenades were lost. Love how this article states a "M-240 fully-automatic machine gun "was found to be missing. if it's not fully automatic, it's not a machine gun!

Well said my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell. Disappearance of ready to fire weapons and munitions from an arm storage facility should create an alert as soon as the inventory discrepancy is identified.
M-240 machine guns are serial numbers ed while grenades may only be lot numbered.
