I also kinda think he's got pretty much zero chance of appealing it, as well...

Correct discharge.
Corporal’s jaw broken into six pieces; lost two teeth; scarring and nerve damage; placed in medically induced coma for several days; and, nearly died from his injuries.
Factors:
*level of violence
*use of weapon likely to kill or inflict grievous bodily harm.
*caused grievous bodily harm.
*victim was of an NCO.
It is meant to be punitive.
A BCD would have had the same effect with regard to benefits, but the DD was part of the punishment, and proper.
