Contributing much to creating and maintaining that Home Front support were Walt Disney films. The artwork on Army Air Corps aircraft during WWWII was wonderful SGT John " Mac " McConnell. From the P-40's of the Flying Tigers through the tens of thousands of bombers that bombed Europe many skilled artists painted images on planes
The Disney characters of Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse figured prominently.
