What is the DNC message? What alternative do they offer? Are DNC vitriol and the "...resistance..."against Trump and Republicans the hallmark their of the 2018 and 2020 campaigns. Under Perez's astute leadership the DNC continues to manufacture outrage against Trump at every turn, while maintaining the party’s status quo. That status quo hemorrhaged over 1,000 seats in state legislatures across the country since 2010. The reality is the DNC is hemorrhaging support because it refuses to acknowledge that it’s not enough for a politician to have “D” next to their name. They have to offer an alternative to Trump other than that he's a meanie and says bad things and I will throw a tantrum until he's impeached - so there!

It remains to be seen whether this is a long term problem for the DNC or just a Trump election hangover, but either way, it's worth a chuckle.
It's worth noting, though, that liberals often point out Trump's low approval numbers. If Trump's numbers are so low, why isn't the DNC raking in cash? Those low approval ratings don't occur in a vacuum. Trump's low numbers aren't the problem for Trump that Democrats wish they were, because everyone else has ratings that are just as low or even lower. Congress? Low. Media? Low. Democrats? Low.

It isn't just him. I think a lot of middle America that might have identified as democrats 20 years ago are voting with their wallets. They are leaving because of the over amped rhetoric, the violence on the left, the demonization of the President (even if they may not be huge fans of his). I could go on. When money dries up that is a sure indication you message is way off. Perez is another democrat loon and his results are showing it.

I'd love to find the source to that quote, but it's about the same thing the indicted jonathan gruber said about the voters when he told a panel that the Ds relied on the ignorance [ stupidity ] of voters to get obamacare passed.

LTC Orlando Illi - I don't think that website does much to bolster the authenticity of that quote. Did you read the other quotes attributed to Carville on that page? It looks like the sort of website that anyone can add to and edit, like Wikipedia.
