Do police lives matter? Liberal white hipsters vs minorities view of police

Great point, SGM Wettstein- Probably not an overstatement to suggest that so much of what we're divided on, originates from those who have less than a full grasp of the realities they debate.

This video exposes and highlights a lot of things.

1) When cops are part of a community, they are respected and appreciated, as opposed to feared.
2) The media (et al) can manipulate the perception of events within an area so that those outside an area view it completely differently.

Now don't get me wrong, there are bad apples. And we should hammer them. Some of those bad apples are the result of the people themselves (their fault), and some of that is the result of systemic issues (our fault). We must look at what is causes each specific instance rather than broad strokes.

Second is that the Media does not work for us. We are their PRODUCT. They sell us. The NEW is the BAIT which is how they capture us to sell to their customers. We are NOT their customers. When was the last time you "bought" news? If you aren't cutting them a check, where is your oversight in the media process? Therefore....
