That said. Be smart about your social media usage. If you get a random invite from a hot girl that just created the account, has a grand total of 2 profile pictures and even less status updates, and has two mutual friends, all guys... chances are that's not a hot chick on the other end of that account. You might want to reevaluate those mutual friends, too. Also, maintain OPSEC. Not just for your duty life, but also your personal life. Vacation photos/videos should be shared AFTER the vacation, not DURING... in fact, don't mention vacations at all until AFTER they've happened. Checking in/location tagging is also a very bad idea... tells adversaries you're not at home, and sometimes (if your address is known) exactly how far away from home you are. OPSEC... it's not just a good idea, it's a way of life.
