One of the political songs of the 1980's. If you listen to the lyrics the oblivious dancer in the song is representative of a Central American government that was oblivious to the corruption and suffering of the people going on around it.......represented by the refrain "All she wants to do is dance". Catchy beat and hard hitting lyrics. Sad but not a lot has changed since the 1980's in Central America.

Yes, there is some Progress when the Salvadorans of the Communist Party put down their AKs and joined Democracy (at least there but not Venezuela). Pix taken by me in Feb, 2018 just before Parliamentary Elections.

Hope it gets better down there it is sad to watch this happen to the poor folks. BTW, they just opened a Salvadoran restaurant near me in North Texas. Any recommendations? I noticed their Tomales are cooked on bannana leaves instead of corn husks.

LTC (Join to see) - In the 1980's Sandinistas were involved in trafficing of women for prostitution as well as smuggling drugs for the Cartels. Daniel Ortega married one of the prostitutes (who knows if she was sober or high on Cocaine at the time) at the same time they were using Liberation theology to spread trouble in El Salvador and Honduras both. Daniel Ortega and Sandinistas are total slime balls, in my view.
