Donald Trump made an appeal to black voters - so, how did they respond?

So let me get this straight. White people choose the political party by intelligently analyzing their policy positions and choose those that align the most with how they believe the government should act, but black people don't do any of that and instead just vote for the party that gives them free stuff? And that must mean that almost all blacks are only worried about getting free stuff, because almost all blacks vote democratic. That's the message Trump is sending to the black communities? And if only black people would use their brains, they would see that the republicans are really the party that cares for them?
Yeah, I can't understand how they can't see the wisdom of the republican party.

Woah... I am A Black Republican and I don't want free stuff because I am Black. What I want is "lift the force fields, level the playing fields, and dismantle the good o'l boys club" so us Vets and African American's to make livelihoods in mainstream industry and take advantage of the federal and private market share.

I don't much like the way the press lumps everybody together by race, religion etc. there are so many individuals out there all different from one another including their views, political affiliations, beliefs a multitude of things. I want what Martin Luther King wanted, everyone to be judged on the basis of their own character. Nothing else should matter and everyone should have the same opportunity to advance in society. Everyone is Ok in My book until they as an individual prove otherwise. Some people prove very quickly though that they as individuals have some serous issues .

I analyze this not as "we're better than they are," but as "they're worse than we are." More pandering and condescension. The best tweet that this article mentions? "One thing #Trump is right about is that Democrats take the black vote for granted. That said, obviously no black person should vote GOP." Whether that be from years of conditioning and brainwashing by Democrats, or seeing the types of people that normally align with and identify as Republicans, it's pretty clear that the Republicans don't have black interests at heart, either.
Oh, and then there's this: https://www.rallypoint.com/shared-links/trump-to-stump-in-philly-on-friday-for-african-american-votes?urlhash=1858000

Trump to stump in Philly on Friday for African American votes | RallyPoint
When I said I'd be willing to travel to Philly to hear Trump speak, this isn't exactly what I was hoping for. Same with his plan for Detroit: closed-door, reportedly scripted exchanges are not what we as black people are looking for.Trump, you want us to vote for you? Then talk to us. Go to the convention center, the Spectrum (stay away from the Linc and CPB, though... don't want your pall hanging over my Eagles. Lol), anywhere you can think...
