There has been little progress over the past two weeks in terms of US Senate confirmation on nominees which require Senate confirmation. Hopefully the Senate will get back to the business of governing including confirming or denying those who have been nominated.
It seems that filibustering versus the Nuclear option employed by thankfully former Senator Harry Reid.

The Nuclear Option should be called the Reid Option. We should honor the inventor. :)

What has that to do with the topic of this thread so far no applicants have been filibustered at all so the nuclear option would have made no differnce.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr: LTC Ford addressed the "Nuclear Option" in the last sentence of his post and Mr. Lint responded to it........that's why we are all here, to interact........... I never thought about it but the "Reid Option" makes a lot more sense than "Nuclear".
