Wild and crazy interpretations by the author here. First the investigation is not even complete yet and people are looking for someone to blame, we don't even know if any mistakes were made yet. The Presidents presentation was blame neutral he stated very clearly he leaves the military decision making to the Generals. In my view that is how it should be. Having an inexperienced CinC like Barry always second guessing leads to more deaths and a much prolonged effort on the battlefield. Civilians should supervise the Military but should not micro-manage the Military. I am pretty confident that was the point he was making and continues to make with his allowing the Generals to determine the rules of engagement instead of specifying them from the Oval Office.

I think we finally have a President who allows the military to make its own plans and it's confusing to most. Obama never took responsibility for benghazi and many other deaths. I don't want anyone telling the military what to do.

What a joke. He said nothing wrong. He said that he didn’t specifically authorize the strike. So what? He didn’t.
If he DID say “Yes, I authorized the strike”, then people would freak out that he did that and say that he was personally responsible for the deaths.
Damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.

Well of course he is! But that changes nothing about what I said. Say you, as "Captain Anonymous" had a Soldier who decided to go out and get hammered drunk and wreck his car...technically it's YOUR responsibility right? You didn't tell him to do it. You had no way to tell that something bad would happen...but by the rules of the military, it would reflect on you. That's fine right? Or....would you be a little miffed and put it on the Soldier and his SL or TL? After all, it's their fault too right? Why should you get blamed? And it goes on from there.
I'm not truly equating the deaths of my fellow Soldiers with my hypothetical story, but just trying to get across that people blame him for everything regardless. If the man says "purple" people scream that he only likes purple. If he coughs, people seem to assume that it means he's trying to give everyone the plague.
Just give the guy a break....I don't think he's "avoiding responsibility", but that he stated a fact.

SFC(P) Jamie Jones - Wow. Your attitude is amazingly poor. I'll be happy to remain in the Guard if someone who makes a comment like that is on the active side. Pathetic.
It's even more telling that your comment doesn't actually address anything other than your apparent desire to put your fingers on your keyboard and flap your figurative gums.
