Thanks for the weather update, my friend SSgt (Join to see) In northern Virginia we had heavy rains this morning as I drove to Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. By the time I parked at the hospital at about 030 the rain had stopped with a mile of the Potomac River.

Does seem to be a wet spring. Should help the crops grow.

A good part of the country is forecasted to be dry. Generally NC/SC/GA/ MS/AL. States like MS. AL, etc. recieve flow off the Gulf of Mexico. Same for most of Florida. Many times we had airmass thunderstorms. Kind of lift with an onshore flow. Some pretty crazy weather in. On and offshore flow. Proximity to the Tropopause can drop colder air into the storm and the effect is like an explosion and feeds the adiabatic force in the core of a large storm.

In Western Texas they have a line of activity that is called the MARFA front. Converging air but with no moisture. (False Echo). Weather 101.5. lol
