The driver above was very young when I first saw him race. Still winning however and the weather is still chugging along. With storms spinning off the Southern Coast of Alaska, we see a slow transition to more spring-like weather. Hard to imagine it, however, with the Sierras getting as much as 7-11inches worth of snow .
The trough over of the Eastern Coast is showing signs of filling and Alaska seeing a strong warming trend, could well spell the end of winter-like weather. On the other hand...lol

Winter what winter, I am hoping for a mild humid summer here in Texas, but it is a tough call cause I see the behavior of the elected officials here while knowing full well that Mother Nature is getting pissed. Kind of like my cast iron frying pan wielding Mother.

LTC Stephen F. Thanks so much. I spent five hours today, more or less, making this forecast and it is a struggle with anxiety and depression. That said, I am blessed to be in relatively good shape.

LTC Stephen F. I have used the name 'Mike Scott' for nearly 30 years. After a few too many people calling me, Gary Wilson', we changed my air name to Meteorologist Mike Scott on Q-105 in Tampa and also notably, WSM (Grand Ole Opry) in Nashville. I have worked with Busch Gardens (Tampa). In racing, I am known by Mike Scott. I still have owners of tracks calling me at home for planning purposes, including El Dora (Tony Stewart's track).
