Is anyone here not familiar with the "clipboard effect". Simply, the person with the clipboard will assume authority over those who do not have a clipboard. Don't believe me? Hand someone a clipboard and ask them to count the number of people wearing red shirts. They will troop the area counting people wearing red shirts, but they will also swell themselves up and look officious doing it. And if anyone has the temerity to ask them what they're doing, they they will likely turn the clipboard away so no one can see it's nothing more than a tally sheet and proceed to describe their duties in the most officious language. Given time, they will exude an aura of authority. Now, give them the authority to issue parking tickets and they will escalate that power to directing traffic.... Again, I tag things like this as "Humor" because if I stop laughing at them, I'll start crying
