#SALRadio talks with the registrar at the US Military Academy, Dr. James Dalton who is also an instructor in geography and environmental engineering. We discussed the importance of the study of geography for building cultural understanding, value of liberal arts in military education to develop critical thinking, continued role of longstanding tools like paper maps and sextants, importance of NCOs as mentors and instructors.
