This is an old story. I did not know until reading this now though, so I thought I would share it.
34-year-old Crystal Mangum, who was sentenced to between 14 years and 18 years in prison.
Killed was 46-year-old Reginald Daye, who was stabbed on April 3, 2011. He died of complications 10 days later.

In February 2010, police arrested Mangum after an altercation with a different boyfriend. In that incident, she was accused of assaulting the man in front of her children and setting some of his clothes on fire.

For the unmitigated harm that she caused to the players and the college, she should have been fucking fried. Now, maybe she will be.

I find this whole thing disappointing. I can't even imagine the amount of pressure she faced after her false accusations. Is it Karma that she would fall so far after what she did? It might, but, the fact remains that someone was killed in her decent into madness.
