Put him on a deserted island, with nothing but vetetable matter, make it a no fly zone and no boats or ships within 5 miles of it.

If he does not appeal his death sentence and is pro-active in it's pursuit he could certainly hasten it some. McVeigh, from conviction to death was about 4 years. I think that would be a win for everyone if Roof assumed room temperature in 4 years (or less).
I am not worried about martyrdom. Martyrs need followers. I don't think there are people following him. I am sure there are a few cranks but nothing to get excited about.
He murdered 9 people in cold blood in a premeditated manner. There are few better examples of death sentence cases than this.
Once he is gone, there is no hope for appeal, there are no interviews with the press or some crackpot woman that wants to marry him we have to hear about on the news. And God forbid should conjugal visits be legalized in SC we would have to hear about that too.
