SSgt Mark Lines - Thats a moore detailed answer than mine, but I concur. . . if you want KDE, an i5 is a minimum. to be fair though, I like Xfce just as much as KDE and it is MUCH less processor heavy. And my wife's answer to computer stuff is sass and snark. I married a band geek after all!

SGT (Join to see) I have read through most of them while troubleshooting my HTPC install. They are very clear and leave the out the technical side. This makes them much easier to follow for someone like my Dad who does not care about the "why" and just wants the darn thing to work.

I do not know why he chose Google over the rest. It is an interesting choice.
