Caregivers lose money by not working, focusing on the needs of the spouse. Let's try to make it fairer with the stipend.

You've just described my/our life. I'm spouse and caregiver with no supports. I care for 100% disabled Vietnam Era Veteran husband. No caregiver financial supports. And as these vets age , their needs increase. I have lost my job due to my choosing my husband first. Now I have lost my entire life savings and will likely be homeless when he passes. Thats my future and the thanks.
