I like the info and the video, SGT John " Mac " McConnell. For me, though, it's a stretch to call The House of Blue Lights the first R&R recording. It sounds like many of jitterbug dance tunes of the time. However, music interpretation is subjective, and like the saying goes, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
