Sorry Elon, I love your ideas but I don't think human beings deserve a chance to live on another planet until we fix/clean up this one, first.

We'll go extinct before we ever 'fix/clean' up this planet. To do so would require the entire world to come together to combat pollution, AND agree to place population limits. Neither is ever going to happen. And with a finite amount of resources here, we ARE going to run out of them. So. We either go out and get more, or we go extinct. There really is no other option.

Population limits go hand-in-hand with birth control and you know how contentious that is...how about a second round of the Spanish flu? It did a remarkably good job in thinning the global population the first time.

This is probably correct, which makes me have a very hard delima, I am a science, engineering and space enthusiast - but should we really be expanding this mindset, that is hurting this world to others? How about just if I am in control of who goes? :D

Quarantine Earth,I thought about that to,but if it were my choice,it wouldn't be the right one,we have to make mistakes to get better.Ristricting one's movements and or locking down our planet would only keep us from evolving.Were all explores by nature.
