'Equator trap' may complicate search for alien life

The spectroscopy in this is so incredibly precise. But having to break that spectrum down to such an incredibly fine and my new level over (in best Carl Sagan voice) billions and billions of miles to proxima is such a feet. Micro micro arc seconds. The signatures could be there but there could be noise that we may not be able to filter out.
