Great video and music from JJ Cale and Eric Clapton. Clapton's guitar work on Sunshine of your love
with Cream was the first time I heard him on the guitar. Can't find my way home with Blind Faith
is still a cool song. Thanks for the music Dave. Check out Louie Louie by the Kingsmen which is my
favorite song from December 1963. It's my cell phone ring tone. Great party and dance song that the
high school bands played at the Ocean Pier.

SGT (Join to see) - The story on the radio air play ban and two year FBI investigation was a person from Sarasota High School made a complaint that Louie Louie had obscene lyrics and teenagers were listening to the music. Can you believe the FBI investigated the song for TWO years ? The FBI had nothing better to do in 1963 I guess.
The Kingsmen released the song in October of 1963 and I bought the 45 RPM record in
late December. I still have that 55 year old record and play it on my turntable and the sound is great. I keep all my 45's and albums from the 60's in good condition. Here is the
funny thing after the FBI found no obscene lyrics and ended their investigation they missed the drummer yelling F*CK 54 seconds into the song when he dropped his stick.
All of the high school kids heard the word but the FBI missed it. I guess they were too focused on the slurred words of singer Jack Ely to hear that one clear word.

famous among high school kids and the song is a classic to this day.

investigation of the song, thanks for the update. I see it originated from the Tampa FBI office on the Sarasota complaint. I know you thought about this. President John F. Kennedy had just been assassinated in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. The murder
of President Kennedy was under investigation by federal investigators and some of that reached into south Florida with the possible connection Lee Harvey Oswald had with Cuba. Amazing that the Tampa FBI field office would assign their agents to investigate a
45 RPM vinyl record during this time period. Maybe amazing is not the correct word to describe what was going on back then with what should have been a top priority.
