Stars and Stripes and Military Times have both become partisan publications that blatantly lean to the left. That type of thing has no business on installation news stands. And it definitely shouldn’t get any taxpayer dollars.

Publications geared towards the military should have any political slant. Publications and other news sources that receive government funding should not have any political slant either.

How do you support that they shouldn’t receive taxpayer support. The root word of liberal is libre which stands for liberty.

Col Casey "Radio" G. from experience and trusting the wisdom of responsible people, I think it is a mistake to throw away what the new society seems antiquated. 50 years ago the government paid farmers to shut their farms down in favor of manufactured foods that would be just as healthy and deed far more people . Millions are still hungry in the United States. 50 years ago scientists and nutritionists signed off that burgers contained the four food groups so they would be a healthy alternative for growing and developing children. Now we have generations of fat adults who were fat children. No do not get rid of the Stars and Stripes in favor of Internet . When the internet becomes a thinking machine and shuts down "reading", then what?
