I had to chuckle at the line, "in the future nobody will be hired for what they know" my friend CPT Scott Sharon The actors were very good in this professional produced video that I have seen before.
1. Students need a foundation of knowledge in the communicating arts of reading, writing and speaking as well as mathematics and most importantly logic.
2. Creativity is important but its needs to be governed. In the past decade, journalists have been taken to task for making up news stories. Plagiarism is still a problem.
3. Without an understanding logic including inductive and deductive reasoning, students can be swayed by what they source on their mobile devices. It takes discernment to sort out the wheat from the much greater volume of chaff on the net. [Not to mention, state of the art malware and virus detection and eliminating software.]
4. For those who actually believe that knowledge is not important, be careful about medical doctors, dentists, folks who design and build buildings including homes, car manufacturers, ship builders and train and aircraft manufacturers. Additional manufacturers of munitions and weaponry and virtually every other manufacturing industry.
Thank you for mentioning me, my friend SP5 Mark Kuzinski
