Officially unable to do anything until January, and should his SecState be confirmed, will be the toughest test of his young presidency. IF he can get this under control, it should shut-up most of his critics.

It would be a disaster if NATO collapsed for Turkey. Doğu Perinçek (Maoist) and a ultra power broker in the region along with his group and will ensure that more disruption and violence will take place and he will likely stage a coupe in which Erdogan is killed or forcibly removed. Other countries are economically unstable in the EU, destabilized by the Syrian refugee crisis. Russia added to the destabilizing of the region by supporting the Assad regime. It would be a mess.
