So much for the liberal utopia of a gun free society.
Many of the liberals pushing gun control in the US use Europe as a role model. Looks like that ideal if rethinking their plan.
While I can find a variety of post on this subject, none of which are on the US media, I am sure the liberals will challenge this as it wasnt on CNN>

The US has about 900,000 sworn police officers and 300,000,000 plus citizens, foreign visitors, immigrants, and illegal aliens. About 1 police officer per 333 people. As things move from slightly scary to downright scary over the next 30 years, will you bet your life and the lives of your loved ones that a police officer will be there to protect you in the seconds after you discover you need them there? Or will you become a self-reliant American and trust yourself?

I believe in strict gun control. I have control of the guns in my house. I have control of the ammunition. I practice so that I am proficient in the use of those guns. I read the law so I know when I can legally employ those guns. Firmly believe it is better to be judged by twelve over carried by six.

Anyone that thinks gun control is helping over here has brain damage in that area. I carry a Gerber so I don't violate the German law. But it won't do much good if I get shot. These folks are the most backwaters innocent yet they're brilliant engineers. A big paradox I tell you.
