Ever Wondered Why Some of Us Are Left-Handed? Here's Why!

Lefties have always been viewed with suspicion. For example, the Latin for "left" is "sinister". My mother-in-law was born left handed in a small peasant village in the Ukraine in the early 1900s, and was forced to sit on her left hand in school to break her "habit" of using it. I am ambidextrous and have gotten into the habit of doing some things right- and others left-handed, but switch just to confuse people. We're used to switch-hitters in baseball, but have you ever seen a switch-hitters? I do both.
