The border was secure, and all was well, as long as the southern border states were absorbing the burden. Once Governors Abbot and DeSantis started sharing the "bounty" of President Biden's weak border policy with blue states, then and ONLY THEN did the democrats start acknowledging that all is not well, and border security is a myth.
