Exclusive: North Korea has no fear of U.S. sanctions move, will pursue nuclear arms - envoy

Poor fatty fat fat (as the Chinese call him). He doesn't need to worry about America, he needs to fear China. They will not put up with a Nuclear war on their own border.

This is what happens when we get involved in a "police action" that never ends. After all the blood and treasure expended in the conflict all we ended with was a cease fire. The problem with the issue is the 800 lb. gorilla in the room, China. If we remove China from the equation this becomes an enhanced live fire exercise, because we have the technology to make it happen. China is the reason why things ended as they did in the 50's. The nearly 800,000 Chinese forces that attacked our lines in the New Year's Offensive 50/51 opened everyone's eyes to the fact that this was a far larger problem. Maybe the strategists have a plan based on finances and capitalism in China that will eventually leverage China to get N Korea in line. It doesn't appear to be working because China is independently creating islands and posing a threat to shipping in the region. Maybe it's time to do more than just knock the dust off OP 5027 and finally get serious about the matter. Right now it seems the US is reactive vice proactive on the matter and that's likely because aggression may lead to something that will quickly get out of control; making diplomacy the only sane option. Every time NK launches missiles the "pucker factor" increases on Okinawa and mainland Japan. Hopefully we have some solid options other than military to get this under semi-control, because the recent actions by NK are not a good sign of things to come. The political climate in DC is not helpful either, because adversaries sense and capitalize on perceived weakness from internal political division. Thanks for sharing.
