PO1 William "Chip" Nagel we used to visit Taiwan often back during Vietnam. Great liberty. Beautiful people. Also would make quick shopping trips to Taipei.

PO3 Bob McCord Made it to Kaohsiung a couple of times. I did see the wharf rats. I have seen them just as big at the harbor in DC.

PO3 Bob McCord Nice Winter Days in Wachai Hong Kong and a short hop it is Hot and Humid in Olongapo. Cold San Miguel both places. Then back to the gun line or chasing a carrier. Slow evenings on the fantail talking about our last liberty and dream about our next port of call.
