We need a rematch because Singapore and Saudi Arabia have both ordered custom models of the f 15 eagle called the Sierra Alpha.

MSgt (Join to see) - what about the story that was a both on RT and also on YouTube about the F-16 beating the F-35? What does the F-16 have better than the F-15 I mean it has one engine instead of two so what else what gives I'm talking I'm an Army soldier who doesn't know so could you give us some insight?

They are talking about the performance envelope of the 2 aircraft. Right now the F-35 has a limited performance envelope (limited Air Speed, G's, and Angle of Attack). This is mostly because they decided to field the F-35 while it is still in Developmental Test. The F-16 was designed post Vietnam to be highly agile and it should be able to outmaneuver an F-35 in a dog fight. The F-35 wasn't designed to dog fight, it was designed to engage targets beyond visual range, while remaining invisible to radar. Below is a link to a good article written by a Norwegian F-35 Pilot in response to the article you mentioned.

I'm sure you'll read about the F15 Sierra Alpha that I posted a month ago so there needs to be a rematch.

I haven't seen any real tests between the F-18 and the F-35 other than opinions. I am sure that their are some Navy and Marine pilots that could give a decent comparison. I can't see any 4th gen platform beating it in a straight up A/A engagement. The F-35 fights by staying beyond visual range and staying invisible (as close as it can) to radar.
