If you don't fly/maintain these A/C.... It's easy to say they don't do much. When you gain intimate working knowledge of what we can actually put inside of a plane..... You would be surprised.

SSgt (Join to see) - I've spent a little time around A/C. I never insulted you or your bird. Nor did I say it isn't capable of doing anything. What it has cost to get to the point it has is way past what Lockheed said it would and it has taken longer to get where it has. That doesn't reflect on the AF or you. Long Live the A-10!
