Facility Technician II - Plant Operations (Plumber/Mechanic) (Full-Time/Days)

Job Summary:
-Performs semi-skilled to skilled tasks, inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs on a broad variety of domestic, commercial, and specialized equipment, including some specialization in one or more of the following: heating, ventilating, air handling, control equipment, domestic hot and cold water, chilled water, sewer, boiler, steam and related systems; and/or electrical and electronic equipment and distribution systems that support various pieces of electrical and mechanical equipment used in the operation of the hospital; and/or expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines. All technicians are expected to perform basic tasks on electrical systems, HVAC systems, mechanical and plumbing systems, and architectural systems. Architectural systems may include, but are not limited to interior and exterior doors (including fire and some doors), ceiling systems, and wall systems.
-Works independently, as well as with a team and takes initiative.
-Helps maintain departmental compliance with governmental standards with documentation and with computerized maintenance management systems.
-Maintains a clean, neat and safe work environment

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Experience Requirements:
3 - 4 years Electrical repair, HVAC, and/or Mechanical maintenance, installation and or contracting. (Required)
