The Airforce is phasing these out in favor of attack helicopters. Which is unfortunate considering it is the coolest piece of equipment they have. Yes, I keep posting about this awesome aircraft, but that is because I love it. And I have been in love with it ever since I got the G.I. Joe toy version of it for Christmas when I was a kid. That toy took out more Transformers than any other toy.

Martha McSally is pushing hard in Congress to keep the A10 flying, I understand she has gotten the Air Force to keep it until 2030. Maybe there is some hope.
