"The sources said Comey met with Sens. Richard Burr, R-N.C., and Mark Warner, D-Va., — the chairman and ranking member, respectively, of the Senate intelligence committee — to discuss the ongoing inquiry Monday, the day before he was fired by Trump.
During their meeting, Burr and Warner pressed Comey to speed up the investigation. According to the sources, Comey responded that he needed more manpower and asked the senators to help him get it." - from Fox News report

So lets ask Comey and Rosenstein the question. Seems to me a request may have been made, it's a matter of to whom it was. And when an article criticizes multiple media outlets using similar headlines, remember that when Trump tweets verbatim something he heard on Fox News; especially, Fox and Friends.

MAJ James Woods As written in a previous piece: https://www.blackandblondemedia.com/2017/02/18/yes-todays-air-journalists-untrained-political-hacks/ way too many who give us the "news" are not formerly trained journalists. Those of us who did go to school for journalism and mass communications were taught than no sources that would not go on the record were to be used in any piece, period. This is to prevent the possibility of that publication being sued for slander and/or libel. This is also to, heaven forbid, have a rogue writer make up a source to achieve a desired narrative, so NO, I don't believe any story with an anonymous source should be used. Old school. Yes, lying is protected 1st Amendment speech but it also has ramifications.

SN (Join to see) - LMAO! Do tell me Black and Blonde Media isn't the only thing you're going to use for reference. I've seen some of the other headlines on that site. It's as bad as Brietbart, The Blaze, and The Daily Caller.

MAJ James Woods We've uniformly been skeptical of stories that uses unnamed sources. If you choose to know more and disregard the well-established rules of journalism, then you will believe what you want to believe.

I'm pretty sure the well established rules of journalism also includes protecting ones sources. Skepticism applies to both named and unnamed sources; not just one or the other.
