This is one of the Reasons My Grand Mother disliked FDR... she worked for Montgomery Wards for almost 20 years... this move sent her retirement and stock in the company to the basement...

Not sure. Is this the beginning of where unions began exploiting power and quickly became more about who was running the union target than those who made up said union?
I remember when air traffic controllers went on strike and Reagan brought in the military to run the skies. Some of those striking controllers were meekness of the reserves/guard and had to work anyways.
