1. Can not see the dates on the "screen shot"
2. The lawyer repeatedly stated "we have reason to believe." No actual evidence. However, anyone that would believe Trump would believe anything.
3. I know, he is just doing his job, trying to get his client out of trouble.

MSG Stan Hutchison - The events in question occurred over a period since January 6, 2021. The result of the impeachment process was that the former president was acquitted of the charges by the Senate. However, some members of the opposing political party were dissatisfied with the legal outcomes and began seeking alternative means to discredit the former president. As additional video footage became available, it was edited and manipulated to present the former president in a negative light, and portray the democrats as heroic and principled individuals.

During the congressional hearing, the House Managers were confronted with the evidence presented, which included side-by-side comparisons of the edited videos by the House Managers that they had presented for public dissemination and the unedited versions of the same videos. This revealed the editing and manipulation that had taken place.

Such behavior by the House Managers and their staff can be characterized as reprehensible and that of sycophants who were caught in the act. This does not represent the type of leadership and representation that the people deserve.

Yes, all of the full clips are readily available, unedited, and clear in what Trump said and/or implied. It was disgusting to watch this manipulation of the truth and to suggest Trump sided with white supremacists, and that he incited a riot/insurrection. It is simply not true. Furthermore, the hypocrisy when we look at the Democrats pushing to decertify electors with FAR less evidence of inconsistencies in each respective election. Trump wanted Republicans to do the same and the Democrats essentially invented an insurrction event around it. The rioters, essentially played into the Democrat's hands and in effect prevented GOP members from requesting the same deceritifcation actions attempted by Democrats in 2016.

There is very few things that Trump states that are "clear" in what he says, particularly anything controversial. He is the master of "nudge, nudge, wink, wink" speech. People can easily hear what they want to hear. If they want to defend him and feel good morally they can chose to hear it in a good light. If they are a person with ... compromised ... morality they can chose to hear his utterances in a light that matches what they believe. That is a feature and not a bug in the way Trump speaks.
