PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - The movie was great. The hall of pictures in the Holocaust Museum in D.C. displayed the human cost that Nazis exacted as they systematically destroyed Jewish Settlements in the region known as the Pale. It is perhaps the most poignant display in the Holocaust Museum. I sometimes think that the subliminal message of Fiddler on the Roof was that Jews in Russia had to balance their lives on a knife edge with no country to protect them and only their religion and culture to sustain them.
