Thanks LTC (Join to see) for sharing a video which reminds me of glam rock performers from way back when :-)

I didn't know that the CIA actually funded Radio free Europe.
I didn't know the Beach Boys played and Czechoslovakia after the Soviet coup. I didn't know that the KGB would force the audience back in their seats if they stood up what American bands came by.
I didn't know there was an American Socialist that played rock and roll in Russia that Russia tried to pretend was American rock but he was an American Socialist who played for the Russians and he was found dead when he was thinking of going back to the United States.
I didn't know that early rock and rollers from Russia and other Soviet Bloc countries or persecuted and some fashionsed home machined copies of Fender Stratocaster guitar from drawings they received from the Russian Navy sailors who went abroad and brought back a souvenir book and schematics. They would break apart soviet telephones to take the magnetic pickup and take an acoustic guitar neck from a Russian guitar and make a poor man's Fender Stratocaster after making the mold out of wood because they had the schematics.
It's amazing to hear Mikhail Gorbachev thought or see what these Russian rock and rollers and speak excellent English because they sang in English and how they were being hounded by the Russian KGB. This is only one episode I'm watching and it's amazing.
