After firing that much at a sustained rate of fire, I would light a cigarette off of the barrel!

As an old armorer, I would have to check the barrel for any warp caused by the sustained firing.

Was that my imagination, or did the cyclical rate of fire accelerate toward the end?

My first thought when the shooting started was, "That's no fun!" If I was shooting, I'd want to be on the gun, not distance-pulling the trigger with a string. But as I continued to watch, I got a case of the heebie-jeebies. The mount LOOKED secure, but 700 rounds will vibrate things, and I could just imagine something coming loose and a stream of bullets going in a different direction that what was intended.

Good ears!!! I had to watch it again to hear it after you mentioned it. For the money and maintenance this will require, I do not like them, but a SAW would be the better option. The "cool" idea sometimes should stay the "cool" idea. Imagine looking through optics while shooting this? They had a damn ACOG mounted...ain't no damn way I'd put my melon behind that doing this. Even the SAW and 240 optics have a give in the eye part, You'd be blind and with a GOOD concussion by round 30

I think you're right. TO me, it also sounded like it picked up a bit about halfway through as well

Might come in handy for the herds of deer around me, they seem to be up to no good lately.
