Probably shouldn't be saying this, but had a Krueger or two before I could legally drink. Think they got bought out by or merged with Narragansett Brewing because I don't remember them being around much and Narragansett beer started showing up at all the places that used to sell Krueger beer.

CW3 Harvey K. Ballentines 3 Ring, a name from my misguided youth that I'd totally forgotten.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - It was instantly recognized by my entire class in Finite Mathematics, when the Venn Diagram was introduced.
One wag put one such diagram on the board before the prof arrived, with the circles labeled "Purity", "Body", and "Flavor", as in the logo.

CW3 Harvey K. We'd buy beer based on money we had and price. PBR was usually the cheap stuff, Ballentines was in the middle and Bud was the high priced stuff for when we had lots of cash.

If I am going to drink beer I would rather go somewhere and get it on tap.

I ran the table here, like most kids of my era cut my teeth on canned beer. Discovered bottled beer in college and switched to that. Went into the military and discovered tap beer which then became my first choice. No longer drink any kind of beer because it bloats me too much, but agree, would go for on tap.
