Thanks for letting us know SP5 Mark Kuzinski that first Lockheed Martin Corp F-35C stealth fighters are set to arrive next week at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California as they join the recently reactivated Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 125, the “Rough Raiders,” to train future aviators on the single-seat multi-role fighter, which will eventually replace the Navy’s F/A-18 Hornet.
I hope the stable and significantly-less costly F/A-18 will be supported for at least a decade.
I expect that the incoming Donald Trump administration will be able to negotiate with Lockheed Martin Corp to reduce the sticker price and more importantly sustainment costs as scheduled and especially unscheduled maintenance bear costs for the foreseeable future of any major program.

, hopefully these F-35 won't be grounded half the time due to technical issues.
