Five brothers who all served in Vietnam War honored

Capt Dwayne Conyers I’ve read this story before. I’d love to say hello to that group! My twin brother were in Nam together for short while.

Reminiscent of the five Sullivan Brothers lost on one ship during WW II in the Pacific - except these brothers survived!

Oine of my brothers (Marine) was twenty miles North of me. He was with the Third Marine Division and I was in the 101st. He was supposed to go home when I arrived in country but didn't. About two months later he was wounded and was laying on a pile of dead Marines. A Navy corpsman noticed that he moved his toe and realized that my brother was alive and got him into surgry. He was transferred to a Navy hospital ship. I was notified a day later and was sent to the ship to check on him. I don't know how my company commander found out. I wrote my wife that night about his injury. She got my letter a few days later and went to notify my parents. A few days later the Marines notified my family that he was wounded.
