Declassified dogfight footage: F-14 Tomcat vs. Libyan MiG-23
1989 Gulf of Sidra encounter between two F-14 Tomcats of the USS John F. Kennedy and two MiG-23 Floggers of Libya. Unsurprisingly, the Tomcats come out on top.
SN Greg Wright I know of at least two Libyans who are glad the Tomcat was retired.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - Yeah heh. But I was referring to the fact that they destroyed the entire fleet, outside a couple of specimens for museums, in order to keep the Iranians from getting parts.
