Flood watch issued for much of NC. Heavy rains are coming in the next 24 hours.

My much better half commented back in the spring we needed "the rain to raise the water table". Seems it been raining ever since. Pouring rain now. I goofed this morning, got the evil eye when I said " how's your water table doing? ".
