Protesting is just an excuse for being a criminal. Plain and simple.

Protesting is legitimate free speech.

Politically motivated violence (Rioting), Politically motivated vandalism, and politically motivated, intentional interference with the normal activities of by-standers and passers-by is criminal activity.

The distinction is important.

CPT L S - In my post immediately above yours, do you see any dispensation granted for political party affiliation or which candidate someone supports? So what is your point?

@CPT (Anonymous) Maybe the planet will be hit by an asteroid tomorrow? This did not happen under Clinton or Obama. That was 16 years to pay down the debt. It was not going to happen under Clinton 2.0. Big business controls government since the foundations of our nation. Why was there are revolution in 1775? Read Gordon Wood who wrote on this topic. Nothing new here. Check the skies tonight you might see something!

@CPT (Anonymous) I do living history as a hobby. I portray a French Marine Officer during the 1750's in western PA. As a student of history the French and Indian War is were this story started. A huge debt was incurred by the British forcing them to tax the colonies to pay. This led to the American Revolution and we move forward from there. My comment about Asteroids just reflects by faith or lack of faith for either political party to work together to fix anything. I appreciate your passion on this topic. There enough blame to hang on both sides of the political spectrum.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for the protesters, the race is over... most of the country either didn't vote or voted against him. If they had expended a little more effort before the election, they might not be so upset now that it's over. That said, protesting is a constitutional right... assaulting protesters because you don't like the message is criminal.
