They are 100% correct. Both the RNC and the DNC have a right to "pick" their candidate, regardless of what their members say they want. Primaries are not regulated by the Federal election process. Each party develops a process to nominate a candidate, after which that candidate is then subject to the Federal election process, not the national committees. However, it is very telling that the DNC would have a stated process and then actively manipulate it to their own designs, in spite of what their members want. It confirms that those who are a part of the Democrat party did not really have a say in picking their candidate. It was picked for them.
A small part of me (very small) kind of wish the RNC would have done a similar thing and managed to end Trump's candidacy. In the end I know that this would be hypocrisy and while my candidate was not ultimately picked, I feel much better about the integrity of the RNC compared to the DNC. They are by no means perfect, but at least they stuck to their own stated rules.

Probably not going to go over well with Sanders supporters. I've seen recent articles about Wasserman-Schultz and her IT guy being implicated in some issues. Not sure what they're about but I believe one dealt with data leaks, and something to do with favoring Clinton also. Sanders might have won, but it's hard to say. It was such a strange year leading up to the election. I hope things will eventually revert to a semblance of normalcy. Thanks for sharing.
