1. She was arrested for battery i.e. kicking someone, not for throwing a tantrum.
2. She is not alone, a 10-year-old autistic boy was also arrested in 2017.

1SG (Join to see) - Mine was a clarifier for the poorly worded "arrested for throwing a tantrum" not a justification. Had it been a justification I would have stated it thusly ... "In their defense ..." as is my practice.
