Florida police chief: 'Quit' if you won't run toward gunfire

MAJ (Join to see) I am a retired High Sheriff, and I could not agree more with what this Police Chief and former Deputy Sheriff is saying. Full time police training teaches tactics on how to approach and advance on an armed situation, at least at the state police I attended. One must take all the cover available, advance on the situation, and get the best position available to assess the situation and advice dispatch, and return fire so as to neutralize the situation as soon as possible. Cowering behind a car and not knowing where the gunfire is coming from is nothing more than a spectator.....not my idea of a law enforcement officer!
