I am going to have to disagree withe what the chief is pushing, Infringement is infringement regardless of the feel good BS he is peddling. Lawful gun owners, key word "LAWFUL" should be able to carry near Churches Schools etc because they are lawful citizens. This BS about not scaring folks is just that BS. Our rights aren't up for emotional drivel that the antis live on. Lets see how they feel if this crap get passed and a loved one is injured or killed in these areas and we hold those that prevented self defense accountable legally and financially.

Yes, they should be sued for every wrongful death in gun-free zones.

The problem with police chiefs is that they are hired and not voted in like the sheriff. A duly elected sheriff has power over all law enforcement in his jurisdiction and can even arrest federal officers.

SSG Robert Webster - Thats funny considering I'm Hispanic by blood but an American by birth. I considered myself as RACIST as I'm R-epublican A-merican C-hristian I-n S-upporting T-rump. I believe in and support the Constitution as the oath I took on enlistment and like you I have never been relieved of that oath.
